The City of Marietta will hold a Public Information Meeting on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 to discuss traffic calming options for the Longstreet, Colston & Hampton Drive areas. You can view an interactive map of the area and mark where you think are problem areas by visiting https://arcg.is/0jLzfK0. There is also a text box where you can enter any comments about the project.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Transportation Office located at 268 Lawrence Street. Enter at the side or rear of the building.
The event will also be live-streamed on the City of Marietta Facebook page, and you can provide comments/questions using the chat feature.
According to the announcement on Marietta’s website:
Public Works will present a proposal for traffic calming for this area and will get feedback from the attendees and explain the process for the request. The City is also using an online survey component for our traffic calming process. We kindly request that you complete the survey in advance of the meeting to help us make the public meeting more productive.
