MIC online education forum: Bridging the Digital Divide

The Mableton Improvement Coalition (MIC) will hold an online education forum on the digital divide in education.

The forum will be held July 21, 2020 at 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Confirmed panelists are:

Tre’ Hutchins, Cobb County School Board Member Elect, Post 3

Jaha Howard, Cobb County School Board Member, Post 2

Dr. Dana C. Giles, Principal, Pebblebrook High School

Tommy J. Perry, Principal, South Cobb High School

MIC provided the following details of the event, including a link to register:

Join us as we address the Digital Divide in Education. In this virtual community meeting on the Zoom platform, our special guests will shed light on challenges facing students with limited or no in-person instruction during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Attendance is free, but registration is required to participate.Have questions for the panel? You will need to ask your question(s) as part of the registration process. That’s the only means by which your question can be posed to the panelists by the moderator. Registration deadline is noon, Tuesday, July 21.
