The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for  Cobb County and other counties in the region for Friday December 1.  Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected, with a possibility of localized flooding. 

The main area of storm activity is forecast to be in the eastern part of the state.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight…

Widespread showers and thunderstorms are likely. Rain may be heavy

at times with localized flooding of rivers, creeks, and streams also

possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday…

Showers and thunderstorms will be possible into Sunday afternoon.

Localized flooding of rivers, creeks, and streams may be possible

in areas with persistent and heavier precipitation.
