The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Cobb County and other parts of north and central Georgia for the weekend beginning Saturday March 8. There is a chance of thunderstorms through the weekend, but those storms are not expected to be severe.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight…

There is a chance of thunderstorms across central Georgia late

tonight. Severe weather is not anticipated at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday…

There is a chance of thunderstorms across portions of north and

all of central Georgia Sunday and Sunday night into early Monday.

Severe weather is not anticipated.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
