According to a public information release from Officer Chuck McPhilamy of the Marietta Police Department, the department’s STEP Unit is investigating a serious injury crash between a car and a motorcycle that occurred yesterday, March 29, 2023, just after noon on Cobb Parkway.
Investigators report the crash occurred when an 18-year-old Marietta woman, driving a 2005 Toyota Camry, attempted to turn left onto Cobb Parkway and entered the path of a 28-year-old Alpharetta man, who was operating a 2016 Kawasaki ZX636 motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and sustained life-threatening injuries, and is currently in critical condition. Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to contact Investigator N. St. Onge at 770-794-5352.
