The candidates for mayor of Smyrna will face off in a debate at Whitefield Academy on Tuesday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. The school is located at 1 Whitefield Drive, Mableton GA 30126 (at the intersection of Buckner and Pebblebrook roads).

According to a press release from Ann Barnett, Whitefield’s Engagement and Outreach Manager, all five mayoral candidates will be present: Alex Backry, Ryan Campbell, Laura M. Mireles, Derek Norton, and Steven Rasin.

The debate will be co-moderated by Whitefield students and Whitefield faculty member, Dr. Jeff Horner.

The debate is free to residents of the City of Smyrna, but tickets are required. You can apply for tickets at http://www.smyrnamayoraldebate.com/
